Would Kerry have signed the Kyoto Protocol?

The title says it all...if John Kerry had become president, would he have signed the agreement and helped save the world from its' REAL danger?

Probably not - woud have faced to much of a backlash from all those Americans who love their cars to have big engines. Americans don't seem to want to bide by international agreements anyway. 90 countries in the UN voted not to invade Iraq - that didn;t stop em

Thx Rob...i agree that there would have been a major backlash, but wondered if he had already pledged to sign it pre-election, possibly contained within an election portfolio. Would be interesting to know whether it might have had a bearing on how people voted.
