we have so many questions asked about whether or not it is safe to risk going to the us with a criminal record on the visa waiver,but does anyone know of anyone who lied and got found out?if so,what happened to them?

you dont actually "lie" you just tick a box and providing you dont sweat or act nervous or suspicious when getting your passport stamped they wont know, but remeber when you land in Gatwick you go through approx 30 unseen camera checks before you reach immigration so the yanks have probably even more and they are looking out for odd body language, so look confident from the minute you step off the plane.

Lol. And which bit of lying isn't that? I've been through 'secondary' many times and it is not nice. But I can tell you that if they found out that you had LIED on a Visa Waiver form you are in for some serious justice.
