Hi Ice sweetie , saw you over there and I posted. The little one is going to be taken to be checked over I gather now.
Better to be safe than lie awake tonight watching him and getting worried wondering if . :-) xxxxx
Not having children I wouldnt know anything about these issues but I was always told that you should never let the child sleep after a heavy blow to the head.

Yes - well that's what I'd have done had it been one of mine. I've just noticed that dabees and someone else suggested geting the fire checked over - or at least moving away from it, because of the chance of leaking carbon monoxide - which was a sensible idea - and I said that hopefully, if the little one's OK, it might be best to have him in his mum's bed to sleep, until the boiler's mended. That way he'd stay warm. Thank you for going over there - xx

That's right tigger - especially if no bruise or lump appears and the child starts to go floppy or be sick
I do hope they have a couple of carbon monoxide sensors in the house as well as smoke alarms.

Thing is - children are always getting knocks and bangs, and if you've never experienced it before, it's worrying for mums as they're not quite sure what to do. Mostly, everything's OK, but that's why i think it's just wise to err on the side of caution.
Question Author
Yes. I somehow doubt it - but hopefully Ethanryan might see this and get them.
This is better than Where The Heart Is, lol, keep it up laydees
That's right Ice , always best to get them checked and , as I say mums know their children and are best judges for knowing if there is something not right.
Question Author
True - but E was obviously a little unsure, or she wouldnt've posted. That's what I meant - the first time anything happens like that, it can be OTT worrying can't it? Hopefully everything'll be fine though - xx
Anyway bigmamma, I think I've had enough to drink, so I'm going to bed now.
Have a good night - x
