Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Just out of interest, are the letters in the surname correct?

It could be Dimbleby.

thanks, but this is what I have got, they dont tell you how many letters each word but it goes like this:
DAVID?M???L? at one stage I had DAVID?M?EGL? but I decided that maybe the EG was incorrect but I am sure the L is okay because the clue is : - very light wood [balsa]and they want the middle letter only. beats me !!!!

could you list the clues to get the other letters?

It could also be David Baddiel....if all your letters are wrong.
At least the letter count is right.

many tks for the input, the answers are all 5 letter words and you just use the middle letter i.e. if the answer is BALSA then you just use L here goes :-
were presuming clues 1to 5 have spelt out DAVID
6. Jumped
7.Small part in a play CAMEO
8. a 'game' lure
9.Very small
10.Correct in details
11.Very light wood BALSA
12.Decorate with embedded material

Do the answer letters to the questions come in the same order as the TV presenter's surname, or can it be an anagram?
I mean will it definitely be David ?C???L?

Assume DAVI are correct, but that the 2nd D is wrong, you have DAVI?, then

12 - don't know, thus giving:

DAVI?AMC?AL?

What clue gives the 2nd D you have in David?

any thanks to all, I am going for Davina McCall, clue 5 was
5. type of seat and I put SEDAN, making DAVID and jumped to conclusions too soon.
So I need type oF seat ??N??, cant be difficult but I have just got up !
