There are 4 long hairline cracks in the scree covering my new stock room floor at work!! They are in even 8 foot intervals apparently because there are steels underneath. That must have been one heck of a tremour!!! I was really shocked as i didn't expect that to have happened!!

i felt earth move last night at 12 ....b4 the earth quake lol
I remember when the one of similar size happened in 1990. I was on a broken down canal boat in the middle of harecastle tunnel, waiting for a rescue. In the end we got on top of the boat and tried pushing it through with our feet when the roof started falling in on us.

Felt nothing this morning though.
It was certainly a good un dot! Scared the beejesus out of me for a moment there last night!
Bit strange telling a 4 year old " dont worry, its only an earthquake" ;-)
I didn't feel anything being in South London, but I heard that some felt it in the Isle of Wight!

I have only ever experienced an earthquake tremor in Turkey whilst on holiday and that was pretty scary.
it was crazy last night, i thought i was having a fit?!
So you been stomping your feet around again then dot and scweeming and scweeming and scweeming.
I was woken up by (so I thought lol) somebody throwing a book across my bedroom... I realised I was alone and the book was where I had left it last night ..... I then started to blame the cat but then descended into bonkersland when I remembered that I do not live with a cat (yet)...... so I just turned over and went back to sleep ! It wasn't until I was driving to work this morning when I heard about an earthquake ....... ahhhhh, so that's who threw the book across the bedroom !
