Sick at heart = Sad

Head = Ness (Headland)
Sadness

A "sad" ie undercooked cake for example will sink due to gravity.

Perhaps this is now old news!
I agree with cruciverbali, but "due to gravity" likely just means that one is sad (has sadness) due to "gravity" - i.e. seriousness or solemnity of a situation.
