best man speech

Hi. I have to give a best man speech next week and to say I'm nervous is a bit of an understatement. I think I have all the material I need but is there a correct order for things. Do I toast the couple before the speech, who do I thank and for what,anything else I need to know? TIA

You'll be fine. I did my brothers and was absolutely shi**ing it for weeks. Practice a few times, take a few pointer cards and have a couple of pints pre-speech. The audience is usually a welcoming one of friends and family so you should be OK. It's good to look back on.
