Hi, does anyone know what on earth I should mark up on the VC5 registration document to tell them that I'm de-restricting my moped?

It won't affect my tax, but I know I have to inform them, obviously. The cc remains the same. They just removed a part that limited the output, so now it operates at its designed-for capacity.

The only thing I can think of is to cross out the 'moped' bit and write 'motorcycle', as due to the top speed it is no longer a moped class.

Just posting on here before I speak to them if necessary, as I informed my insurers the other day and spent half an hour on the phone trying to explain de-restriction to them, before they informed me my premiums would remain the same... whether that's because they didn't know what I was talking about or they didn't think it would make much difference is anyone's guess! I don't fancy a similar conversation with someone from the DVLA!
