Hyundai 5 Year Guarantee
My Hyundai is booked for a service and her first MOT at the end of this month. When I bought her I was told that there's a guarantee on all parts (I think he said all parts!)for 5 years, does this mean that anything that needs replaced will be FOC to me and I'll just need to pay the labour, or is it only certain parts of the car that are guaranteed?
TIA

The first MOT is not too bad, Are you taking it to the Dealer? You do realise that you do not have to take it there for its service & for the warrantee to be void, You can take it to any garage that is VAT Reg & they must use Genuine Hyundai Parts.& must be serviced to the Service Book, A lot of people think that because a new car is from a dealer it has to be serviced there for the Warrantee to be up to date. It has not. T.W.R.

TWR, this is her first MOT and she's done 27k, I'm not expecting anything major, but if they tell me her brake pads are needing replaced, I'll not be wholly surprised.
I knew it would be too good to be true that's they'd covered in the warranty LOL.
Thanks for the tip regarding who does the MOT/service, on this occasion, she's going to the dealer to be done, simply becaus it's half a mile from where I work and easier for me to put it there, but I'll bear it in mind should I move job.
Thanks again
