You are all lucky really, you get to eat all the choccy eggs you want and not worry about your weight lol
When was the last we heard from mountainboo? Was it first thing Friday? Looking promising for her isnt it?
I will keep trying to get back and check on everyones progress but things are a bit hectic with my daughter over doing the eggs and the fact its actually snowing here which is a miracle these days!

baby had better not decide to make appearance here today. we have 3-4 inches of snow here!
I kept waking up with a slight AF pain last night but nothing came of it. Still think bubs is sideways so its not gonna make the slightest difference if i am contracting lol
Not sure whether to stay inin warm or run around in snow with little CRX, who is loving his first real experience of it.
Mboo, hope alls well and you bring us news soon.
Lorrymac, hope things move for you soon, i know excactly how frustrating it is to go overrdue.
All i can say is, at least its not hot out. I hated being overdue in 80 drgree heat last time.

Hi all, i'm really frustrated today. just don't know what to do with myself (breaks into song...) - i'm feeling really lethargic and just can't bring myself to do anything. i think i wouldn't eat or drink if my husband wasn't looking after me! i've been bouncing on my ball and trying to potter around but just feel like lying on my bed feeling sorry for myself.
i really hate this waiting!!! at this time baby isn't going to be here on time so in a way i'm already overdue. if i could i'd rock into hospital right now and ask to be induced.
natalie - glad you're feeling better. when is your next midwife appointment to check if he/she has dropped? i have to admit that i didn't notice - i was surprised when she told me, so don't think it's something you'll necessarily notice yourself.
Red - how over did you go? and how did your last labour start if you don't mind me asking. and what happens if your baby stays sideways or will it turn one way eventually?
Happy Easter everyone! x

Hi lorry. I hate to say it but my son was born at 42+3. My hospitals policy is to start induction at 42 weeks so i turned up on the weds morn all excited. Got the pessary inserted and waited. I had painless contractions but nothing moved. I had another pessary that night, again nothing.
They wouldnt give me any more for fear of overstimulation of the cervix so i waited and waited and waited.
By the Friday night they were worried so i had my waters broken. That was at 6pm. I started in labour at 9pm, established by 10pm and reached just under 10cm at 2am.
I had a little problem with last bit of cervix but little CRX was born at 4.08 on the saturday morning.

Hello again ladies, Lorry I know how you're feeling. I just can't be bothered to do anything, although I am so bored I feel like I want to do something. MrNat has gone to watch the footie so I have had the house to myself for a couple of hours and all I have done is lay on the sofa thinking about what to do!
I know everyone says, if you feel like resting then you should, but some of me feels like resting and the rest of me feels like getting up and doig something - just the two parts don't seem to want to do it at the same time. Also, I feel really unsociable, I can't be bothered to ring friends that I should - sometimes I can't even be arsed to repsond to a text message, I mean it's not like I am too busy or anything LOL
My next appt isn't until April 3rd which is when I will be 40weeks bang on - seems like a lifetime away, and if I was to go as far a Red then you might as well be telling me that I'l be giving birth in 2010 :-O

Hello all, still here and still very frustrated!!
Red - 42+3 - oh my word! i can't imagine being that much further down the line from here - not because i'm uncomfortable or anything but beause i'm not a very good person at waiting and i want my baby!! plus i'm self employed and have saved up enough money to be with my baby for so many weeks - every day i'm sat here wtihout a baby is a day less i will have with him/her before i go back to work!
i have no idea what the policy is at my hospital, re induction all that's been mentioned so far is a sweep at 41 weeks.
thanks for sharing your labour story Red. x
Natalie - i am exactly the same as you - torn between resting and doing something productive, can't be bothered using the time i have to catch up with people that i haven't spoken to in ages, and if i get a text it can sometimes take me till the next day to write back - no reason at all! all i'm saying to people is "i'm fed up, i'm bored waiting" etc... and sometimes i guess you don't want to be that down when people are nicely asking you how you are.
Anyway, on the plus side, Mountainboo seems very happy and although she's gone thru it a bit sounds like everyone is happy and well which is fantastic news!
Am i next?!?!?!?!?
night all xxx
