cap highlights whilst pregnant
ive read that you cannot use hair dye that contains ammonia when pregnant but i have it through the cap anyway and would like to know if this makes a difference as it is not coming into contact with my skin

Your hair becomes more porous and acts differently when hormones are raging within your body so a strand test is VITAL even if you have used the brand before. You might end up with a lovely green hue on your hair if you don't. Or you might end up with a nasty colour to that on the box.
Again, a skin test is also VITAL because whilst you may not usually be allergic or have a reaction when not pregnant, you could do when you are
So, do a 48 hour strand and skin test before you die at home. If in doubt go to the hairdressers :)
