Thinking of buying this camera, would anyone disagree ? Best price I have found is Amazon, but where can I get the memory card for extra pictures, does it have a reference number ?? Which memory card would I need for lots of pictures ?? Thanks all.

The camera takes SD cards so make sure you buy an SD card and not any other type.
It says it comes with a 32Mb memory card, but that will only hold about 10 pictures.
There is a little chart here showing how many pictures you can get on each size of card. The chart only goes up to 6 megapixel and the Canon is a 7mp so it will be slightly less for your camnera.

So a 512Mb card will hold about 160 pictures and a 1Gb card will hold about 320 pictures (these figures are a rough guide as each picture will be a different size).
You can probably get an SD card larger than 1Gb.

Here for example is the Argos page for SD memory cards.

I note there is a mini version of the SD card caled SDHC.
I do not have a camera that takes SD cards so not sure how these SDHC cards work.
Maybe go in Jessops in your local high street and ask them for some advice when you get the camera.

Camera:
Any Canon is a good camera.
Memory cards:
SanDisk are a good brand, reliable.
1GB or 2GB cards store plenty and are well priced right now. Just make sure it's an SD card.
Most websites can be considerably cheaper than shops. Amazon themselves will sell these things at good prices:
