No my memory is rubbish, and even if i could remember , i wouldn't let on if the crime was commited against some one i disliked, IE my next door neighbour, who happens to be the neighbour from hell.
any one else ,yes i would help in any way i could.
Every little detail
It probably would all come back to me at a later date!!
or I would remember things that are of no use!!
I was a witness to a glassing on a bus returning from a wedding, I was sitting next to the girl who glassed a woman, i saw and heard everything, when the case went to court the defence barrister tried to tell me that i was mistaken and it was all just an accident, i told him that i was there and i did not see him on the bus so how did he know what happened, this of course upset him and he ripped into me but it had no effect on me as i had previously worked in the system all over south wales and i knew what barristers were like. anyway he got the cow off in the end , the jury just grinning like loons so she was found not guilty," what a liberty"
"it was the one armed man on the grassy knoll officer"
I have photographic memory so I remember and visually remember everything
I'd be rubbish! I don't take things in too well and then get mixed up trying to recall them. Things happen in a flash. Mind you, i guess it depends what you were witnessing really. If i was a bystander to say, a robbery, then i think i'd make a mental note of things that were going on. If however it was a fight that all kicked off very fast, im not so sure.
I doubt it upset him Jacko, he was only doing what he was instructed to do whether he thought it was a pile of sh1te or not. A witness with a bit of spark is much more fun.

Personally, I'd like to think I'd be a good witness, but I actually think I'd be terrible.
I have witnessed a number of crimes actually: the atrocious spelling on AnswerBank, present company excepted, of course.

I'm good at remembering registrations on cars, not that it's of any use lol. I kind of take note of going ons round about me so I think I'd make a good witness if needed.
I have a photographic memory, I can remember masses.

I have been a witness to a car crime, I successfully identified the thieves and even told them which pocket the screwdriver was in, even though I wasnt really concentrating whilst witnessing the crime.
Nope, I'd be pants at it. I can remember what people look like when I meet them for the first time, but if you were to ask me to describe their features in detail, I couldn't do it.

My best friend was mugged about a month ago and only now the police have asked her if she can remember enough for them to produce an EFIT!
I was a witness to a motorbike crash where the motorcyclist was killed, I was useless as my mind blanked some of it out.
