For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.I was a witness to a glassing on a bus returning from a wedding, I was sitting next to the girl who glassed a woman, i saw and heard everything, when the case went to court the defence barrister tried to tell me that i was mistaken and it was all just an accident, i told him that i was there and i did not see him on the bus so how did he know what happened, this of course upset him and he ripped into me but it had no effect on me as i had previously worked in the system all over south wales and i knew what barristers were like. anyway he got the cow off in the end , the jury just grinning like loons so she was found not guilty," what a liberty"
I'd be rubbish! I don't take things in too well and then get mixed up trying to recall them. Things happen in a flash. Mind you, i guess it depends what you were witnessing really. If i was a bystander to say, a robbery, then i think i'd make a mental note of things that were going on. If however it was a fight that all kicked off very fast, im not so sure.
Nope, I'd be pants at it. I can remember what people look like when I meet them for the first time, but if you were to ask me to describe their features in detail, I couldn't do it.
