My boyfriend is trying to confuse me by sending me phrases in Japanese. I can't find a translation on the web, does anyone know what this means:

Ginkoo wa, ku ji kara goo ji made desu

Ginkoo = bank
wa = topic indicator - in this case the bank
ku = nine
ji = o'clock
kara = from
go (ji) = five (o'clock)
made = until
desu = polite predicate - i.e. it is

"The bank, it is open from 9 o'clock until 5 o'clock."

GIN 　吟　means singing, praising, making a poem

KOO 　行　means walking

For your fun :

銀行　ginkoo, the same sound, also means the bank where you put your silver, your money in, but that is only the same sound, a completely different word.

But you can still have a ginkoo at your local ginkoo :o)
