outlook express

Ive just noticed that my Send and Receive e-mails in my Outlook Express has vanished off my screen, has anybody got any simple advice for me to get it back please.  Cheers

Hey,

I work as a user support technician for NTL and get calls much like this all day, it seems you have simply dragged the grey bars to the right of your send/receive buttons too far to the left or have rearranged the layout accidentally. Drag your mouse over various parts of the interface at the top of the screen and look for the icon to change to 2 arrows pointing left/right. With this you should be able to edit the interface to your own preference. Hope this helps!

My Outlook Express still looks different to me as when i go to send an e-mail, there's still no send and receieve, ive moved the mouse everywhere possible, this has only happened about an hour ago, i must have pressed something by mistake.  Cheers Kinetic and hope you can help still

Scoop, if it's any help, I always use Ctrl+M to download (receive) e-mails. I think it acts to send as well, assuming you have any unsent mails, though I usually click on File, then Send, within the e-mail itself. I generally try to do away with big rows of icons at the top if they're not absolutely necessary (they take up so much screen space).

You need to find if it is still there by right-clicking the Toolbar and then select `customize'. This will bring up a window showing which icons should be present on the toolbar and gives you the option of inserting additional ones from a list.
