Why do people pace up and down - from one corner of the room / office to the other, when talking on a mobile phone

Is there a scientific explanation ?

That must be why they are caled "mobile" phones.

Just human nature I suppose.

Maybe the brain is controlled by the mysterious rays said to emante from the devices: they make you talk loudly, ignore those around you, stand in their way ... ...

I think calls from a mobile should be answered in the same way as a call from Nature. By locking oneself in a small room where no-one can see or hear you.

Maybe we can use the new "memristor" devices announced today by HP to answer the call quietly, in place of the human owner?

Because for some strange reason they think it makes them look more important
