8 wks Pregnant

Hi All, Im Currently 8 wks pregnant with my 2nd Child. My Booking In Scan is 27 May, When i will B 10 Wks. With My Little Girl Who is now 4, i was 8 wks Pregnant when i had this done.... Does anyone know why they hav now changed it, so that you are 10 wks? It doesnt bother me, its more that the time just seems to Be Draggin loads waiting for it! x x

they do the old 18 week triple test at 10 weeks now and via a scan thats pob y- they will prob do it altogether

in most areas they dont do a dating scan until 12 weeks so at least you dont have to wait that long.

Here in Norfolk and Suffolk you get a dating scan at 12 weeks and then an anomoly scam at around 20-22 weeks. Some areas dont do the second scan.

Just think how much more you will see at 10 weeks compared to 8 though :)

Im not in the same area as red but here too you get your first scan at 12 weeks and the second at 20 weeks. Mine was actually at 22 weeks as this was the first available appointment so that could be why you had a difference in the weeks.

yup in my area they do the first at 12 weeks but don't do a 2nd scan unless a problem is suspected....i guess its the old nhs postcode lottery.

Hi Kymrobo, congrats on your pregnancy (and joining AB!). I had a booking in appt at 10weeks, then a dating scan at 12weeks and then the anomoly scan at 20weeks (ish).
