The last one that was really any good was the night before i went to hospital to have little CRX so thats almost 3 years ago now.
My old flat has a massive sash window that had a view straight down the street and Mr CRX and i sat on sofa looking out for hours.
Little CRX loves them too, i wonder if he picked up on the vibes of that night.

I love them mamma.....i like being snug indoors and under the duvet,or curled up on the sofa...listening to the rumbling. The storms here are nowhere near as violent as the ones we used to get in NYC....being in a high-rise and watching the sky is fun!!!!.....we had a bit of a flurry here in Plymouth.....but it looks like the next county got the best of it-lol

Hiya bigmamma hope you are well. When I was a kid and there was a thunder storm my dad would take me to sit in the porch and watch the lightening, I have loved storms ever since but we had a belter last year and it hit the telegraph post outside our house so no phones and no puters for days. I live in a very exposed place so after that I went and bought camping lamps and camping stoves just in case, trouble is a puter won't work on gas :- ))
Hi all , it doesn't look at al like we will get one until it warms up a bit more , and it has to be sort of humid too to get one here . Sorry you don't like them daffi and wiggal , it must be scary for you .
As a child we used to actually sit on the window ledge and watch the lightening and count down to the thunder so we knew if it was coming or going . Mum used to turn the tv off though.
Daffi , my sister is near Tavistock , she's out in the sticks .
Redcrx , it's good that little crx likes them and isn't scared.
That link is great thank you Info Bank
My dog doesn't mind them at all but my sister little dog spent the whole storm head first under one of the sofa cushions next to her hubby.

Awww , you don't like them too , I bet you're not hoping for one like me then. It was supposed to be tomorrow hun , that's right , but my dentist wrote to my gp for her opinion and she wrote to the dentist saying I should be in hospital with a consultant anaesthetist who specialises in patients with compromised breathing problems, and wants it to be done under general anaesthesia a it's quiet a job with the tooth deep and needing surgical removal. So it' a case of waiting to see the dental surgeon who I have now been referred to. xxxxxx
