Trouble with iPod
1 Answers
Okay, this is going to be long so advance thank you's to anyone who takes the time out to read it let alone answer!
I have a 2nd Generation iPod Nano. Recently however I lost the lead that connects it to my computer, which meant I couldn't charge it up or add/remove songs etc.
Even worse, I accidentally deleted ALL of my music off iTunes. I was extremely mad but I've got the majority of it back on now.
Today, I bought a new lead. Now, I connected the iPod to my laptop and the iPod started chargin fine. The only problem is, there is no way for me to sync my iPod to my computer. I've tried every way I can think of and I just can't do it.
The songs on my iPod now are the songs I USED to have on my laptop. Does that make sense at all?
So my question is, can this be fixed? Is there a way for me to sync it? Also, can anybody tell me why this happened so I can try to prevent it in the future?
Thank you so much in advance.

First of all, try going to the iPod summary page with ur iPod plugged in. Press the restore button, iTunes will restore your iPod to how it was when it left the factory, it will then automatically update your iPod software to the newest version and re-sync it. This will fix the problem if the problem is with your iPod. Failing this, uninstall then reinstall iTunes.
