13 down. Clue: Move quietly in a stealthy manner (5). I have: S?I?K. I keep thinking SLINK but it's not quite right I feel. There's something not very nice about slinking off, a little like skulking. There's nothing intimated in the clue that fits. Help please.

I know what you mean - it wouldn't have been my first choice of answer. However, this definition of slink is in the Oxford Dict. -"move quietly with gliding steps in a stealthy or sensuous manner; come or go unobtrusively of furtively". I would go with slink...
