as everyone on here posting requests for crossword answers (Im thinking mos in particular as thats the puzzle I do) has full access to the internet , why dont you do a little research and find the answers for yourselves.I promise you its much more fun and rewarding than simply having the answers given to you.For example if I google - german baritone+schubert - the very first line tells me Fischer-Dieskau.Like I say its just a thought..

just another thought ..... why did you bother to look at the answerbank in the first place ??
Interesting! Couldn't agree with you more, sannox. Particularly regarding ash24's rather derogatory comments re: MOS readers. I, too, have been doing this crossword for a number of years. Pre-internet days I used to have to go to the library every week and didn't always complete it, even then. I do feel, however, that more and more questions require internet searches. And I have numerous reference books, etc. If you think people are being lazy, don't answer the questions. Most of the time you can tell which people are just after a quick fix. BB
just wondered what col craddock is doing using answerbank!
It's more accurate to google. There are so many WRONG answers posted every week either intentionally for the gullible or, in good faith by ignoramuses!
Many of us visit AB frequently because it's such a good laugh.
