Have just read that this was supposed to be Ireland's song for Eurovision 2008, but I don't remember seeing it on Sat night. Was it withdrawn and if so, why??

Think they went out in the semi finals.

Not withdrawn but knocked out in an earlier heat, thank heavens. I don't think the rest of Europe would have appreciated the joke (which was basically a ****-take of the Eurovision).
