Poorly pup - sore back leg :o(
29 Answers
Oh dear, pup not 100% today, not bouncing around like tigger! He was fine this morn then, when my daughter came down before work, he got up from his bed and his back leg gave way - walking around on three legs.
We have had the hang dog expression, the its a dog life expression, the huge spaniel eyes - I feel sorry for myself expression! Oh dear! Have had cuddles all day - he is feeling very sorry for himself. Have taken him out for little trot round the garden every so often so leg doesn;t stiffen up.
Have sought advice - it seems he may have pulled a muscle, not life threatening - (just got to keep an eye on him - see how it is for next 24hours) - although gentle trot round garden does loosen the leg up a bit.
He hasn't even chased the neighbours cats out of the garden today!!!
He's my boy, love him to bits.
Ps - I think he is making the most of all the extra attention!!!! :o)

I have been keeping eye on pup all day but also got caught up in the awful story of the hedgehog being burned. All day on and off I have been looking at the answers people have given and I just knew I couldn't actually read what had happened to the poor little thing. I have just posted a message now as you will see - words fail me really.
Anyway - hey - back to pup! He and I had a fairly good night on the settee together (!!!) - cos I daren't let him go up the stairs yet to sleep in my room - our usual abode - until knee is much better! I am a touch tired (!!!) but he seems to enjoy the arrangement!!!! (Not a lot of room on the settee for the both of us .... I seem to draw the short straw so he stays comfy!!!)
He was much back to his little self today, still limping a wee bit now and again but has had a good appetite and has had his tablet (half twice daily) scrunched up in a ball of cheese. He is such a sucker for cheese - it works every time!!!!
He can't understand why walkies are a no no at the mo but we have enjoyed sitting out in the garden for a bit of fresh air and he has had a little sniff round and seems a lot happier. Have had a gentle play with his array of toys also.
I think the knee is still giving him gip now and again and he will now and again not put weight on it (tho much better than yesterday and day before) but we have four more days of tablets so fingers crossed.
Here's hoping. :o) xxxx
