Has it got a "silvery" appearance to the leaves ?....have a check under the leaves for small webs and even small red spiders about the size of a pin prick.
Palour palms are notorious for getting red spider mites (RSM). You can spray them with an insecticide or spray the underside of the leaves with tepid water daily....RSM love hot dry conditions and hate humidity.
no Hammerman not silvery just very pale green as opposed to vibrant, no sign of webs or little beasties. It is very old but the parent plant which is 30 yrs is in same room and is fine though maybe not in as much light??
With the risk of "teaching your mother to suck eggs"....could you have overwatered or dried it out too much ?....does it need repotting....or just a good feed ?
teach mamya LOL only kidding yes either is a possibility its now in ICU and will receive TLC and am sure will prosper.
Thanks for your interest this plant was my dads so means quite a lot to me.
Mamya
a) it could be in too bright a position, a northerly aspect or back from the window spot is preferred by this and most medium- green plants.
b) It may need repotting.
