Does anyone know who'll be playing Ian Curtis in the upcoming film of the bands life?

They haven't casted yet, but Jude Law is a candidate for playing Ian

I also heard from another source that Jude Law is the favourite for the role.  The film should be an honest and close to the truth depiction of his life as his wife, Debbie, and Factory boss, Anthony Wilson, are strongly involved.  As are the former members of Joy Division.

I thought the guy who played him in 24 Hour Party People was excellent, scarily accurate.  Jude Law would certainly increase the profile of the film though.

A better idea would be either john simm from sex traffic or euan mcgregor to play him.
