Help.
Suddenly I've been unable to connect to the internet. I've only been able to post this question by turning off ZoneAlarm. Have I been stupid and pressed a switch in ZoneAlarm (can't remember playing with it lately though) and how dangerous is it for me to be surfing without a firewall?

Must have been too many pints on Tuesday!

Thanks...Realaleman

Have a look at tezestwing`s question a bit further down, I had the same problem and turning Zone Alarm to medium worked for me.
Did you update from MS in the past day or two? One of their latest updates is sending ZoneAlarm into a spin.

Many thanks to both of you. Yes I did get the unavoidable updates when I shut down the other day and changing ZoneAlarm to medium has sorted it.

I reall hate the way PCs do things automatically and you dont know what has happened. I was much happier with my Atari ST which only had things that I had installed and I knew what they were gonna do!

Thanks again
