Midsomer must not only be famed for its killings but also for it`s preservation qualities. A child does a drawing Nineteen Years ago, is cherished by his mother so obviously handled a lot but it is in pristine condition to show to the cops! Also, the bicyle down the well for same 19 years, they buckled it a bit and dirtied it but no way did it look as if it had been in a well for that time. As someone else recently commented (can`t find it to quote who) it is this sloppiness which also makes me lose track of the plot because my mind dwells on it while action moves on.
The unconcious boy was dropped as a dead weight 20-30 feet, down the well, yet apparently woke up with no broken bones or fractures, and was able to scale the wall of the well which had no obvious ledges.
And never went back for his bike.
The tyres on the bike were still inflated after being in the well for 19 years.
I was at someone elses house, so I didn't have the option of turning it off.
And when cellarman escaped on foot, the dynamic duo were next seen speeding at 90mph in their car to his real mums house. Cellarman must have teleported or something because he was fast asleep in bed when they got there.
