I'd pre-warn them, because the scanner'll most likely pick them up anyway.

Where is the name calling?
Short answer is NO!
There is no duty payable on clippers, and I don't think they qualify as a deadly weapon, so no need to say anything., Just have a story ready in case you are asked why you have them in your case.
If you are going by coach to Hungary you are not going to pass through customs anyway so there's going to be noone to tell
I would think that, in an age where they take mail scissors away from you, you probably should be declaring any "sharp/bladed" item.

just because you probably won't get caught, doesn't mean it's right.
or nail scissors, even!
Why on earth are you taking them????

Maybe problems with an unruly privet....
If its in your hold luggage no problem.Ive brought electric jigsaws and other power tools here from uk because they were 75% cheaper.you dont even need to declare .Its not like you can get access to them once loaded in the luggage compartment .

i thought someone wouldve pointed this out earlier.

If however youre thinking of taking it in your handluggage you will probably find yourself bent over a stainless steel counter with a large mans arm halfway up your bottom.
