hi i have my suit case packed and in it i have a per of garden loppers with long handles and small blades to cut twigs about 3" the blades are still wrapped in it original wrapper in plastic so will i need to tell customs that i have them
Short answer is NO!
There is no duty payable on clippers, and I don't think they qualify as a deadly weapon, so no need to say anything., Just have a story ready in case you are asked why you have them in your case.
If its in your hold luggage no problem.Ive brought electric jigsaws and other power tools here from uk because they were 75% cheaper.you dont even need to declare .Its not like you can get access to them once loaded in the luggage compartment .
i thought someone wouldve pointed this out earlier.
If however youre thinking of taking it in your handluggage you will probably find yourself bent over a stainless steel counter with a large mans arm halfway up your bottom.
