Can anyone remember this far back?

I've been so busy lately that I've only just managed to find time to look at this and am a bit confused !

12a A rich friendly man's endless vin rouge (5) - D * I N. Edwin ?

5d Moving in a mass of uniform temperature (6) A S * - R M. aswarm?

The * is where 12a & 5d intersect.

I'm also unable to find the 2nd 10 letter word hiding in the rockery - I've got the seaweed down the right hand side.

Can any kind person help? Thanks.

I gave it up as a bad job. Easier to buy a bottle of champgne than waste time on something that, in my view, was badly compiled.

I'm glad to see that I'm not alone, but I'm quite annoyed with myself, as I've had trouble with the last 3 Inquisitors and I used to be able to do them reasonably easily. Have missed the last post now, so shall have to wait for all to be revealed in 10 days time.
