Good morning, Lie-in King, and thanks for your help.!
Sorry again for hijacking your thread last night.....am now having second thoughts about PC, copper. Cannot thin of anything better then Bluebottle, but don't think it's a very good answer.
Have you any further thoughts ?
Glad I managed to get you some answers at least..

Hi ladyalex, no I'm not too happy with bluebottle either, I was thinking of something ending with D or perhaps P for the copper, with something before it. Also, I cannot find ore anywhere on the internet ( for seaweed ) , Lie-in king said it was in Chambers dictionary but I have one of them, and I also looked their website but came up with nothing. These are the only 2 clues I'm not sure about, thanks again for the help you gave me last night.
Hello again doogied
I know that I found ORE=seaweed some time ago, but am having difficulty in tracking it down again. I have, however, found this page which does contain a reference to Sea Ore

http://everything2.com/e2node/British%2520food %2520seaweeds

I got it this time by googling ore+seaweed, so I'm going to stick with ORFE.

Like you I have been messing about with D and P for the copper one. I think I've even seen someone suggest on here that it might be CUCKOO as in PC=copper=Cu followed by copper=CU cucu sounds like cuckoo.
however, I think that is a bit far-fetched and I've already got cuckoo for Wordsworth's blithe newcomer...I know that that is right and I don't think they would have the same answer twice.
My only other thought about it is BLUEBILL, a kind of bird. Either PC or copper could =bill, stuck with the blue , though, so still not very satisfactory.
Well, a few days to go yet. Hope the voucher is worth it!
