Stella Artois (pronounced /ˈstɛlə ɑrˈtwɑː/) is a 5.2% ABV global lager first brewed in Leuven, Belgium in 1926 as a Christmas brew, and named Stella after the Latin for "star."[1]
Stella Artois is a cheap lager drunk in half-pints by apprentice drinkers (shall we say). It's also known as panther **** by drinkers of ale. The best lager is Pilsener Urquell, brewed at Plzen in the Czech republic It'll put hairs on your chest. The German Weissbier is pretty good as well.
