my computer......HELP!!!!!!

My computer has stopped working as it was a couple of weeks ago. Whenever I try to sign in to my e-mail or bebo or you tube or WHATEVER it takes forever and then all I get is "internet explorer cannot display the web page". My provider is Tiscali and everything was instant until recently. It has been suggested that my DNS is unable to resolve IP addresses???? HELP ME PLEASE!!!!

Do you have Zone Alarm firewall?

click on the start button and select run and then type (without quotes) "cmd" and hit enter, In the black window this opens type (again no quotes!) "ipconfig /all" and hit enter and post back here with what it says next to dns servers

While you are at the command prompt (the black window) also try typing "ping www.theanswerbank.co.uk" and hit enter, it should then say

Pinging theanswerbank.co.uk [91.186.31.12] with 32 bytes of data:

if it doesn't post back the error message too
