My fiancee lives in Worksop I live in Birmingham we have been together for 16 months but we want to live together and my fiancee wants to move to me. The eldest daughter who is 15 does not want to move in no way shape or form what legal rights does she have at this age. If her mother says she is going does she have a right to refuse as it is stressing out not just the daughter but also the mother who wants us all to live together. Just to give you the full picture the mother has 4 kids 2 in the army and a younger daughter who is 13 and cannot wait to move I have a 6yr old boy who lives with me every other weekend and we all get on very very well..Advice needed???

I had to move at 15 because my father changed his job and I can remember how devastated I was. Changing schools at this age is traumatic. However, in no time at all I settled down and made new friends, etc.
Is Worksop very far from Birmingham? Can you promise her visits back to Worksop on a regular basis so she can meet up with her friends. In no time at all she will start to enjoy her life in the new environment and the visits back to her old home will get further and further apart.
Good luck.

ur daughter has a right to give her own opinion, but if you are wanting to move then thats yor choice, she has no proper rights until she is 16 which then she can move out, u need to sit down and talk to ur daughter and try to agree to somehting, im sure tht all she needs is some understanding off the situation and to be involved in what is happening. Tell her the surroundings of where you are moving, and tell her about the house where u are wanting to move, if she stresses then she will have to deal with it herself, it isn't your fault. Im sure you wil nderstand if it is her moving away from her friends and she isnt confident enough to make her own new friends.
