wireless connection to laptop
6 Answers
This will probably sound like a dim question but I have no clue what I'm doing! Once I've connected the wireless router to the modem and the modem to the computer and it has recognised the wireless router do I simply disconnect the computer from the modem and the wireless will work? Do only the wireless and modem need to be connected? Am so confused and instructions i have hopeless! please help!

I've just had a quick look at the reviews and every single one says how easy this router is to set up, so you shouldn't have any trouble.
The set up should be - router connected to modem by ethernet cable; laptop to router
It has its own easy set up wizard so just follow the instructions.
One thing I have found time and time again - if you cannot connect after unplugging the laptop from the router - switch everything off at the plug, and switch your laptop off.
Switch back on in this exact order:
Modem - wait a good 30 seconds
Router - wait again
Laptop
If you ever have problems connecting, do that first. You'd be surprised how often that solves the problem.
Now, during set up, whilst you are still connected by the cable, don't forget to set the security. This router supports WPA2, so use that. If you set it while you are not connected, you'll lock yourself out.
Bet it's easy. :) Good luck
