I do not understand ?
1 Answers
I left my girlfriend and children many years ago as i could not provide for them, they have recently been in touch and tried to welcome me with open arms however there txts and telephone calls did not match up to the reality, we have recently lost our son through a horrendous murder, i did not try and think i could just march back into their lives but as i have said above their txts and phone calls were very much suggesting other wise, i had attended the trial to support them even though it was very practical as i did not want to impose myself, and i got evevrything thrown back in my face and they then just ignored me, i no some people out there may think i got what i deserve for not being with them all those yars ago, but i am also grieving and feeling enough guilt i just want to understand from a womans point of view if poss why they treated me like this after all it was they who wanted me back.

I think maybe they were sincere in the beginning, but by the sounds of it are understandably angry about what has happened to there brother, it must be stirring up all sorts of emotions for them and the easiest one to take it out on is you. They must be hurt that you left when they were little, so the anger they are feeling right now is easily aimed at you, I can understand why you acted the way you did at the trial as you didnt want to impose yourself, but maybe they took it as you didnt care enough? I would try writing to them explaining exactly how you feel and why you acted the way you did at the trial, you have nothing to lose and so much to gain...best of luck! x
