What colors go?

Hi all i'm really hoping someone can help me..
I want to get new curtains and a border or my living room,at present my carpet is deep red,my sofa is mid red,my lower half of wall is sunshineish yellow,top half of wall s lemon yellow,and border is kinda dark yellow,goldie,my curtains are dark velvet red,my furniture is beech and pine.
I really wanna change the curtains and border but i'm unsure what colors will go...
