How heavy can your suitcase be when travelling from the Uk to South Korea, and is it possible to take 2 suitcases.. If you are going to live there for 1 year

it will depend on which airline you are flying with but it should say on their website. You can normally book in advance and pay a cheaper rate to carry extra luggage - they could charge you a hefty fee at the airport or even refuse to carry your extra bags.
Depending how much you intend to take you may be better off booking space in a container and sending it sea freight. Takes about 6 weeks.
20 kilos for a flight ..anything heavier send
as freight ..or buy what you need when you
are there and give it away when you leave ..
think South Korea is a cheap place to
live ...whatever enjoy the expeirience ...
When I moved, I packed 20 kilos of essentials in a suitcase, and another suitcase of nice-to-haves. I managed to get the second suitcase checked in as well (sob story at check in), but was prepared to send it unaccompanied baggage if necessary (18-20 kgs to Korea may be 200 pounds-ish). The important bit is to prioritise what you really need, and if it all goes wrong the person taking you to the airport can take the second case home again. The heavier the second case, the less likely you will be able to check it in
