Does anyone know which currency is better to take on my upcoming holiday to jamaica US dollars or Jamaican dollars.Thankyou

Hi,

I found it easier with the US dollar as the Jamaican Dollar "tag" price can lead to a lot of change and maths! They accept both EVERYWHERE!
And prices are displayed in both currencies. (Or they tell you)

I always take my sterling and change it into jamaican dollars over there.

I would not buy JS Dollars here as the rate is not good.

They take both in Jamaica especially if you are visiting the touristy places on the coast.
