There is always the possibility that it IS genuine.

Do you remember the tragedy a couple of years ago when a guiy actually hanged himself, while being egged on by users in a chat room. That happened close to my home town. And it was not at all pleasant . . . . . . .

Yes, I agree it's a cruel thing to do, Jayne, but the only person sitting have a good old laugh was 'lung cancer' himself. I'm pretty sure he thought we were all sitting having a chuckle along with him.

If MikeJon isn't for real, then the rest of us can take comfort in the fact that;

a. he's a prat

b. someone may have been helped by all the responses, and that can only be a good thing, eh?

I'm sceptical of a lot of greenie questions... but with a question like the suicide one I will take it at face value and treat it as serious.

I couldn't live with my self if I took the pee thinking it was a joke and it turned out to be serious and I had made it worse!

Many people threaten to commit suicide for very trivial reasons. When legend was banned from here about two years ago, he was near to ending his life. He was talked out of it by concerned members, much to everyones relief.

He seems more contented now, being able to post at will 24/7. Sometimes it takes very little to push you over the edge.

i went to my local library and asked if they had any books on how to commit suicide . the librarian said they used to have ten books on the bottom shelf , but nobody ever brought them back
