Further to thread below, would anyone recommend a light box for acne, and if so, which one. Do you get an outbreak of acne after you first start using the box, before it gets better (if it gets better?)

You would be better off getting a facial solarium and using it maybe once or twice a week for very short periods of time,I don't think a SAD box wouldn't work on acne.

My bro had acne and the hospital sorted
out ..he did have panda eyes ..but it
worked so ..I would be careful using home
cures ...

It's a different kind of light they use I think. SAD boxes use daylight spectrum bulbs or something and at least some of the ones I've seen have no UV light, whereas it's UV light they use for acne - so a sad box would do no good.
