locked 5000 rds car stereo

Ihave a1997 ford escort and the 5000 rds stereo is reading locked 13 i tryed leaving it turned on for several hours but this didnt unlock it .the seial no M278975 and code no 9923 help would be welcome.

If it is locked - you need to go to fords for a replacement /swap - it will only fully lock if an incorrect code has been put in 10 times
