Money does not buy you happiness.
My cousin was an early lottery winner (just under 4 million.) He then married his childhood sweetheart but they discovered they couldn't have kids. His wife was devastated so he went out and bought her a top of the range BMW as consolation. On her first outing in it she knocked down and killed a child. Her mental health has been shaky ever since.
My cousin estranged himself from his mum and sister. They were dirt poor but would never have asked him for a handout. He said he would make sure they were financially OK....and then bought them a coat each!

So sad :(
Sorry for the delay, got distracted watching House (am addicted to it at the moment!).
Was a great weekend, Neil's (ex) brother's fiancee's hen do. Flew out to Cork in our special T Shirts then drinkies in the hotel before hitting the town for some drinks and a nice meal then a day wandering round Cork then getting all dolled up (dress code black and bling!), bubbly with the hen and donning our hen do tiaras and heading for a lovely candlelit italian meal and into some bars.
I hadn't met most of them before except Neil's mum, the hen and her sister but everyone was so lovely and was a lovely girly bonding weekend.
Hotel was great and everyone was so friendly over there. First time I've been to Ireland and want to go back soon :)
