Skoda Fabia - ARS

What does the ARS button do on a Skoda Fabia? No mention of it in the entire owner's manual.

And does anyone know how much it would cost to buy a replacement cigarette lighter insert?

A bit of Googling suggests that 'ARS' might be 'Acceleration Slip Regulation'. (Yes, I know the letters are in the wrong order but the Fabia is manufactured for many markets, so the abbreviation isn't necessarily in English). If so, it's traction control. (Try looking up 'Traction Control' in the manual to see if that makes sense).

That answer is no more than intelligent guesswork but I can tell you that you can buy Fabia cigarette lighters very cheaply on eBay:

I would have thought it more likely to be Advanced Restraint System (front and/or side airbags, seat belt pretensioners and the like).

The Skoda website shows a feature called ASR - Anti Slip Regulation. This would fit with Chris's answer.
