Dogs & Sneezing

Why, when I sneeze, does my Staffy come running from wherever she is even if she was deep asleep ... it's as if she is comin got check on me ... she is 7 years old now and STILL does it ..... why??/ And does anyone elses dog do this?

my dog(a yorkie) does exactly the same.i think its cos its a loud noise it startes the dog and she thinks ur upset or in pain.my dog does it when i cough too and proceeds to lick my face lol.its probly cos she loves you and wants to make you feel better :-D

I had a Smooth Collie who used to do this. He used to spend a lot of time upstairs under my bed, and if I wanted him to come down, I would stand at the bottom and say aaaah and before I could say choo he would come running down .

echokilo, that is adorable. Our Border Collie does the exact same thing, and it is just, as you say, like he is checking up on us!

Same with loud yawning.

Give her a cuddle from me, she sounds bootiful! x
