instant screensaver activation

i've just moved into a shared property and have set my screensaver to go off after three minutes, but is there a keyboard shortcut to set it off instantly? like, if the door went, and i went to answer it but didn't wanna leave the laptop running, could i press a coupla keys to lock it?

Not a screen saver but press ctrl + alt + delete at the same time followed by enter and you can lock your computer so it needs your password to unlock it.

Nope, when you unlock your computer it will be same as when you locked it
