False Nails

I bite my nails but im getting married and im trying to stop but bit unsuccessful. Are gel nails better than acrylic?

hi - i never really knew the difference - but i have had gel nails for ages and am really pleased with them. you do have to have infills every six weeks and dont know how this compares to acrylic.
also dont go to a nail bar / manicurist who uses a machine to file your nails down each time, this can damage your own nails unless theyre really good so im told
