hi all can someone help my friend on his computer to delete his history hes deleated it using tools but its still coming up in the serch box...how does he delete it??

What browser is he using ?

he just using ordinary explorer

to clear just the search history without clearing all your other autofill information you have to do it one at a time.

click in the box where you want to clear the history, press the down arrow on the keyboard and then press delete and the first one will go... press delete again and the second one will go... repeat until all clear.

or if you have google toolbar or a google search in your browser menu search then right click on the google logo next to the search box and select clear history.

The reason I wanted to know which browser your friend was using was that in Firefox you can select an option to NOT store what you've been searching for - quite useful !

Tools / Options / Privacy / uncheck all the History boxes.

If you mean the search engine box, in explorer 7, it`s tools - delete browsing history - delete forms.
