Thank you for sharing that jenna! I have bought Aldi cat food before but mine wouldn't touch it (fussy beggars that they are). Mind you the one farts whatever she eats : (

He's been gobbling it up but seems not so keen on the rabbit, just licked the gravy off and left the meat.

Am waiting for him to object to my new easy clean litter tray strategy, putting a swing bin liner round and underneath, he doesn't look impressed!

Am lying on my side on the sofa and he's currently stretched out on top of my side watching me type and purring away :)
He's certainly settled in really well hasn't he jenna - you have found a lovely little friend there

I have :)

He's not a fussy cat, begging for attention but loves to be cosy and curl up next to you and seems facinated by everything.

I gave him his own sofa full of blankets and cushions but he still comes and curls up next to me on the sofa (or on me as he is at the minute) and snuggles up on my bed at night.
haha... Jenna's a slave now .... Jenna's a slave now...lol

My two thugs absolutely adore the Lidl cheapo cat food trays... but not the pouches !

You will have lots of this over the next few months - worried owner last seen biting her fingernails wondering whether her new master/mistress would actually eat the delights purchased for him/her... And then finding out that said master/mistress actually enjoys the cheapest, nastiest stuff and totally ignores the expensive ones.... apart from Whiskas with green peas or other veg... (mine love cheapo nasty food, as well as Whiskas posh... but not the Beef doh !)
you sound like you're becoming a fully paid up member of the owned by a fury household god, welcome to the club.

He's been on the Aldi pouches and was fine on beef and duck but hasn't eaten the rabbit, just the gravy.

He loves the little stick treat things from there as well - distraction technique when I'm trying to have my own food without him deciding mine looks so much nicer than his...failing rather miserably on that count so far though :)

We also had fridge games, he is facinated by it, can probably smell the ham and garlic sausage!

Stop eating it then, Jenna.
And I thought Lidl cat food was bad!
Hee , talking of windypops , my labrador emits a smell most foul if she has eggs in any form .
bigmamma, your dog can't be worse than Bigs.sorry to lower the tone,i'll get banned
The reason your cat 'snuggles' into you and not his bed is because you're the hot-water-bottle and the cat wants the warmth from you.........ha ha ha, and u thought it was luv, you're being used!

And the fleas will appreciate the warmth too ;)
