PS: I've just noticed that your question asks where you buy the BIG or BTI tickets.
You can buy them from the automatic ticket machines at metro stations. (You need to have roughly the right fare available. They only give small amounts of change. If you put in an amount which would require too much change, your transaction will be rejected). You can also buy them from news stalls at mainline and metro stations (and quite possibly elsewhere as well).
