Damaged the Car
5 Answers
Just rubbed some bird mess off the car with fairy liquid and the 'wrong' side of a washing up sponge .. I now have a round matt area on the bonnett instead of shiny. Would black car polish, just on this area, get rid of this or would I have to polish the whole bonnet? Any answers gratefully accepted please !

Right , it should not be a problem to get it shining again , firstly try polishing it with some good quality car polish , (autoglym or similar) this should make the swirls caused by the abrasive pad less noticeable, polish it and polish it again till it shines back up, hopefully it will shine again , if you are unsure call in at a local bodyshop and they will machine buff it out if they can for a minimum charge .
